Electricity Ministry closes 12 power stations violating in Sanaa

SANAA, May 12 (YPA) – Ministry of Electricity in coordination with the Interior Ministry seized on Tuesday 12 owners of power stations violating in the capital Sanaa.

An official in the Ministry of Electricity’s Operations Room said that closure of a number of a number of power stations came due to violations of the tariff and subscription price set by the ministry with private sector.

The official pointed out that the campaign targeted 12 generating stations in several districts of al-Safia, al-Sabeen and Haziaz and other places, and took legal measures against the owners of the power stations.
