Al-Qaeda reveals combat cooperation with Hadi’s forces in Marib

MARIB, Mary 3 (YPA) – Al-Qaeda organization branch in the Arabian Peninsula published a video of one of its members documenting his cooperation with Saudi Arabia and Hadi’s forces in Marib province.

In the video clip, the Al-Qaeda member confirms that Hadi’s forces had received them upon their arrival in Marib, and that fighting takes place in cooperation between the two parties in Serwah front, noting that the organization does not have an independent front there.

The recording, which was broadcast by Aden news agency loyal to the coalition, added that the Al-Qaeda leader in Marib, called Abu Fawaz al-Maribi, is highly respected by Hadi’s forces and is allowed to pass through various security points in the province.

It is worth noting that it is not the first time that Al-Qaeda and Hadi’s forces have been fighting side by side, as the organization’s flags appeared during the August 2019 events in the provinces of Shabwa and Abyan.
