Shura condemns coalition’s attack on Afar customs in Bayda

SANAA, May 3 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Saturday condemned in the strongest terms Saudi-led coalition’s air strikes on Afar customs in Bayda province, which killed several civilians and burned a number of trucks loaded with foodstuffs and medicines.

“This crime added to the criminal record of the coalition of evil led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE,” the Shura Council said in a statement.

The statement stressed that this crime does not lapse by statute of limitations and requires the prosecution of its perpetrators in accordance with international humanitarian law.

in the statement, Shura Council called on local and international organizations to take responsibility for monitoring, highlighting and documenting the crimes and hideous massacres committed daily by the aggression coalition against civilians, including the crime of targeting Afar customs crossing in Bayda.
