Secretary General of Local Council escapes assassination in Sanaa

SANAA, April 1 (YPA) – Secretary General of the Local Council in Sanaa province escaped on Wednesday an assassination attempt, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The Secretary General of the Local Council and head of al-Wehda club, Ameen Jumaan escaped the assassination attempt in al-Rwishan round of Hadda area.

Unknown gunmen were riding a motorcycle fired a barrage of bullets, wounding Ameen with two bullets, one in the abdomen and the other in the foot.
