Shura condemns continuation of aggression coalition crimes

SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Tuesday condemned the continuation of the crimes committed by Saudi-led aggression coalition, the last of which was targeting a number of establishments in the capital Sanaa, killing civilians and dozens of horses.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the Shura Council held the United Nations, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and the international community responsible for the war crimes committed by the aggression coalition against the Yemeni people for their silence on those crimes.

The statement considered that this silence has provided cover for the aggression coalition to continue targeting the Yemeni people and destroying their potentials.

The Shura Council called on local and international organizations to take responsibility in monitoring and documenting the aggression coalition’s crimes in order to try their perpetrators before the International Criminal Court, as these crimes would not be subject to statute of limitations.

The Council reiterated the call for the formation of an independent committee to investigate the crimes committed by aggression coalition in Yemen over the past five years.
