Saudi forces arrive in Abyan en route to Aden

ABYAN, March 29 (YPA) – Saudi military forces arrived on  Sunday in Abyan province, en route to the southern port city of Aden, local sources said.

According to the sources, a number of military vehicles and pickups were seen in Abyan with a food convoy accompanying the troops.

The coalition military convoy continues its way to Aden in an effort to gain total control over the province and end the presence of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, especially after the detention of its leaders and disallow them to return to Aden

Yemen Press Agency (YPA) obtained a document issued by the command centre,  giving an order with a pass for the convoy, directing the operations of the 4th Military Region Command to secure the convoy, and the same directives for the first and third military regions.
