5 suspected coronavirus cases show negative test results: Health Ministry

SANAA, March 29 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Joint Technical Committee to prepare for confronting Corona on Sunday said they received five reports of suspected cases.

Dr. Abdulhakim al-Kohlani, spokesman for the committee, explained that the five cases are for Yemeni citizens, one from Jableh district of Ibb province, and another from Taiz province, and the rest from the capital Sanaa, among them two cases of two children with leukemia.

He pointed out that the National Center for Public Health Laboratories in the capital conducted laboratory tests for all these cases and found that they were all free of the Coronavirus.

The spokesman called on everyone to adhere to the directives and instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and to strictly implement the decisions of the Cabinet and the Higher Ministerial Committee for Epidemics Control, affirming that they are proactive precautionary measures for the benefit of all.
