Saada governor discusses cooperation with ICRC delegation

SAADA, March 25 (YPA) – Governor of Saada province Mohammed Jaber Awadh on Wednesday discussed with the sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Saada ways to strengthen cooperation between the province and the delegation to confront Coronavirus.

In the meeting, the governor stressed that the province needs humanitarian assistance in various aspects, as a result of what it has been exposed to over the five years of targeting and destroying by Saudi-led aggression coalition aircraft.

He pointed out that the humanitarian organizations working in the province witness to the crimes committed by the aggression coalition against humanity.

The governor appreciated the efforts of the ICRC sub-delegation and its partner the Yemeni Red Crescent Society in promoting the humanitarian work path in the province.

For his part, head of the ICRC sub-delegation confirmed the readiness to cooperate with the local authority in confronting the Coronavirus.
