Health Ministry condemns Saudi-run gov’t’s decision to continue civil flights to Yemen

SANAA, March 16 (YPA) – Health Ministry in Sanaa on Monday condemned an irresponsible decision taken by the Saudi-backed and exiled Hadi’s government for continuing the civil flights to Yemen.

The ministry affirmed in a statement that raising the number of the civil flights coming from Egypt and Jordan across the airports of Aden and Seiyun to five flights, is serious disaster step in light of Coronavirus outbreak.

The statement held the Saudi-led aggression coalition the full responsible for any suspected case or infection of the Coronavirus in Yemen as a result of dangerous measures taken against Yemen.

“While the countries of the world are keen to suspend flights in and out of their airports to confront the coronavirus, the Saudi-run mercenary government continue to allow civil flights to entry of the Yemeni airports,” It added.

The statement called on the United Nations and the World Health Organization to fulfill their duty in stopping these flights and disastrous behaviors and measures by the Saudi-exiled government that aimed at targeting the Yemeni people.
