Bodyguard escapes assassination attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, May 1 (YPA) – A bodyguard of UAE-backed Bin Daghr authorities’ official escaped from an assassination attempt on Tuesday in Taiz province, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.

Unknown militants on a motorbike opened  a fire on the personal bodyguard of the official, Abdul-Qawi al-Makhlafi, in Taiz provincial capital city

Taiz province has seen series of assassinations incident and a conflicts among regional countries since one year and a half ago, targeting military advocates and politicians.
