Update: Yemeni army targets Saudi Aramco, sensitive targets in Yanbu

SANAA, Feb. 21 (YPA) –  The Yemeni army’s spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sarei on Friday announced the implementation of “the third deterrence balance operation” against sensitive targets in the depth of Saudi lands.

The operation was carried out by 12 drones of Samad-3 type, two winged-missiles of Quds type and a long-range ballistic missile of Thulfiqar type, according to the army’s statement read by Sarie.

“The third deterrence balance operation targeted Aramco and other sensitive targets in Yanbu, hitting its targets with high accuracy,” said Sarie.

The statement affirmed that the third deterrence balance operation is a natural and legitimate reaction to Saudi-led coalition crimes against Yemeni people, the latest of which was its crime in Jawf province.

The army’s statement vowed to carry out more painful strikes against Saudi regime if it continued its aggression and blockade on Yemen.
