HODEIDAH, Feb. 20 (YPA) – The cases of dengue fever and malaria cases in Hodeidah province and its districts have decreased to less than 500 cases, Director of the Public Health Office in the province Dr. Abdulrahman Jarallah said on Thursday.

Jarallah pointed out that the decrease in the cases of dengue and malaria came as a result of the efforts made by the National Salvation Government, the Health Ministry and the local authority to combat epidemics and diseases in the province.

Last month, the Ministry of Health announced there were 4,000 cases of infection with dengue fever and malaria in Hodeidah.
