National Defense Council Meeting Comes Up With Important Military Decisions

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – The Council approved in its meeting on Wednesday, headed by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, plans to secure the areas that have been liberated of occupation in Nihm, Marib and Jawf in a manner that guarantees their stability.

He directed the government to activate state institutions in those areas, provide basic services, especially relief and health, and address security and military conditions in a way that facilitates the return of the displaced and achieves stability and security of citizens there.

During the  meeting, they heard the special report submitted by the Ministry of Defense on the “al-Bunyan al-Marsous” operation and the report submitted by the security and intelligence services on the successful security operation.

The President congratulated the Yemeni People, the Army and Popular Committees, and the security men for these accomplished military and security victories.

He urged the full and permanent readiness to thwart any escalation or mobilization of aggression on all fronts and raise the level of readiness, ensuring the continuity and maintenance of military and security achievements and victories.

The meeting also touched on the repeated violations committed by the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries in Hodeidah, their failure to the political process, their rejection of peace calls and their failure to implement the Stockholm Agreement despite what the national party presented in this regard, as well as the continued imposition of the siege and targeting of durayhimi city.

He condemned the massacre of aggression in Jawf, which continues its crimes, in light of the silence of the international community and the United Nations.

The National Defense Council reaffirmed its support for the Palestinian People and rejected the deal of the century and normalization with the occupation, condemning the client and collusion regimes.
