Sudanese parliament demands to withdraw soldiers from Yemen

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – Sudanese parliament’s members demanded a Sudanese government and president al-Bashir to withdraw of Saudi-led coalition and go out soldiers from Yemen, in statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

In the statement issued on Sunday said that “the participation of Sudan in the military operations in Yemen is contrary to the Constitution and the law.”

The statement added «the Sudanese government holds all the material and moral responsibilities towards the families of the martyrs and the wounded in Yemen».

The statement called for taking political positions in support of peace in Yemen and respecting the Yemenis’ will and sovereignty of the State of Yemen, and non-interference in internal affairs.

On April 7, the Yemeni army forces announced the killing of dozens of Sudanese soldiers and injuring others who fought with Saudi-led aggression coalition in Medi desert in Hajjah province, north-west of Yemen.
