Russian Politician: Corona virus is a US provocation

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, has described the Corona virus, which has so far claimed the lives of 40 people in China, as an American provocation.

“It really extends across all continents (the Corona virus)،” said Zhirinovsky at a meeting with students and teachers at the Institute of World Civilizations.

He said: The Americans fear that they will not be able to bypass China, or at least remain on an equal footing with it, “referring to the recent economic war between the US and China.

He stressed that such provocations are not the first, recalling bird flu and British beef (due to mad cow disease)

Vladimir Zhirinovsky concluded that within a month, everything would stop. He considered that this virus is a provocation, and that people living mostly in Switzerland have become billionaires because of the sale of drugs related to the virus.

China has announced the isolation of more than 10 cities to prevent the outbreak of the virus, which has killed 41 citizens and infected thousands, including cases in the United States and a number of Southeast Asian countries and Australia.
