Dozens of Saudi-backed militias killed in Saada

SAADA, April 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army foiled a large-scale attack by Saudi-backed militants on Mendibah border area, a military official told the Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed that dozens of Saudi-backed militias were killed and others injured when the army repulsed their infiltration attempts towards Mandabah area in Baqim border district.

The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged a series of air strikes to back its militias during their failed attempt to progress.

The Yemeni army continued battling Saudi-led coalition and its militias beyond border fronts, inflicting heavy losses on the militias’ ranks.
