Report: 22 Yemeni civilians killed in over 19 coalition airstrikes

SANAA, Jan 24 (YPA) – At least 22 civilians were killed and three others wounded, Including children and women, in more than 19 airstrikes launched by US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes on several Yemeni provinces over the past day, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

  • In northern province of Saada:

13 Yemeni civilians were killed and three others injured in Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on a resident’s home and a main road in Munabeh district.

Nine civilians, including four children and two women, were killed in an airstrike on their car in Aal-Ali area of Razih district.

Two airstrikes hit a main road in Maran area of Haidan district.

Four airstrikes hit Aal-Subhan area of Baqem district.

Two air raids struck Boqea area of Kutaf district.

Two raids hit near Safraa district’s market, damaging the road.

An air strike hit a civilian’s car on Rahaba bridge in Nashur area of Safraa district.

  • In Marib province:

The Saudi-led coalition launched two raids on Serwah district.

  • In the province of Jawf:

Three airstrikes hit Maslub district.

  • In the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah:

The Saudi-led coalition launched an airstrike on Hodeidah airport.
