Education ministry condemns coalition attack on School in Marib

SANAA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – The Ministry of Education condemned Saudi-led coalition’s blatant attack with artillery at Al-Amal Elementary School in Hareb Al-Qaramish District of Marib province, injuring a number of students, some of them seriously.

The ministry indicated in a statement that this criminal act is the second targeting in a month and comes as part of a series of aggression attacks and for the educational process, staff and students.

The statement considered the continued targeting of the aggression and its mercenaries for the educational process renounces any peace agreements and blatantly defies human values and international laws that guarantee the protection of education.

The statement called on the international community, human rights and organizations to assume moral and humanitarian responsibility, condemn the crimes committed by the aggression coalition and its mercenaries, and intervene immediately to protect education in Yemen and work to activate and monitor the implementation of international laws related to education.
