President Al-Mashat: Saudi crimes in Yemen committed under US auspices

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday said the brutal crimes committed by Saudi Arabia in Yemen under US auspices, protection and supervision.

In his speech before the Parliament following the swearing-in ceremony, President al-Mashat said that the Saudi-led coalition by assassinating the President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad has chosen to be in an open war.

“What the enemy did was a very costly mistake,” Al-Mashat said.

The persident held the US administration responsible for the crime assassination committed by the Saudi regime, which according to the international law is a political assassination and a violation of the sovereignty of the Yemeni people.

Al-Mashat also considered the US administration responsible for the genocide crimes that have been committed by Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, the latest of which are the targeting of a wedding party and citizens in Bani Qais and Abs districts of Hajjah province and other crimes across the country.

He noted that the martyr president Al-Sammad presented real perceptions of steadfastness and dignity of the Yemeni people, likewise the child Samih Ali, whose father was killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Bani Qais wedding, also presented an image of the people’s grievance.
