“The agricultural sector is vital sector in Yemen and constitutes 70 percent, and thus the coalition focuses on targeting it,” said al-Mutwakil in a press a statement.

Al-Mutwakil explained that the Yemeni society has imposed itself strongly to raise the level of production despite the scarce resources in the agricultural sector.

Some agricultural establishments have increased their production efficiency from the usual rate before the aggression on Yemen by about 40 percent, he added.
