Officials in Hadi’s gov’t prevented from attending Riyadh agreement signing ceremony

RIYADH, Nov. 5 (YPA) – Saudi authorities prevented officials in Hadi’s government from attending the signing ceremony of Riyadh agreement to be held Tuesday in the Saudi capital, media sources said.

The lists that have been lifted from “Hadi’s office” to the Saudi side on the names of Yemeni personalities who will attend the signing ceremony has not been approved by the Saudi side, the sources added.

The sources revealed that those selected to attend the signing ceremony from Hadi’s government and the southern transitional council loyal to the UAE were stripped of their personal phones and watches, and were transferred to one of the royal palaces by buses before the start of the signing process.

Saudi Arabia had set Tuesday, November 5, as a date for the signing of the agreement between the so-called legitimacy government and the transitional council, following days of armed escalation of the transitional council against Hadi’s forces in the southern provinces.
