Hadi’s interior minister, transport minister survived assassination attempt in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The Exiled Hadi ‘s interior and transport ministers have just survived an assassination attempt in Shabwah province, eastern Yemen, local sources reported on Monday.

Interior minister Ahmed Al Maisri, and transport minister Saleh Al Jabwan were the target of an assassination attempt in Shabwah, but they survived, media sources said.

According to the sources, the attempt was made by a car bomb, discovered near the residence of the two ministers’ staff.

The sources confirmed that the person who tried to plant the bomb, was arrested near the house of the governor of Shabwah, where the ministers of interior and transport reside.
