Egypt calls exiled Hadi’s Interior Minister to leave its territory

SANAA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Egyptian Deputy Interior Minister on Tuesday called on Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s Interior Minister Ahmed al-Maisari to leave Egypt within 72 hours, sources said.

“I just received a call from the Egyptian deputy interior minister and asked me to leave the country within 72 hours,” the sources quoted from al-Maisari’s message.

The sources affirmed that the Egyptian decision came at a request from the UAE due to al-Maisari’s positions and statements that accused Abu Dhabi of supporting so-called of Southern Transition Council militias to target state institutions in Yemen’s southern provinces.
