Fate of Media activist abducted by UAE-backed militias still unknown

ADEN, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Transitional Council militias have been hiding media activist Mohamed Ali Saeed al-Missari for nine days since he was kidnapped in the southern Yemeni port city of Aden.

According to al-Misaari’s family, the fate of al-Missari remains unclear and his fate has not been identified or where he has been hidden since his abduction after a raid on his home in Mahrah neighborhood of Al-Briqa district.

He said that the STC’s Militias abducted him from his home and took his personal phones, and did not allow him to make even a single phone call to his family.

Al-Missari is one of the most prominent media activists loyal to the exiled Hadi’s government, and descended from the Al-Mayasir tribe in Abyan province, to which “Hadi” Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Missari belongs.
