Army foils coalition mercenaries’ infiltration attempt in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sept. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Monday thwarted an infiltration attempt by Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries towards al-Qurashiya area south of al-Jah district in Hodeidah province, an army official said.

Meanwhile, the coalition forces launched artillery shelling on citizens’ homes and farms in al-Jah area of Bait al-Faqih district, according to the official.

On Sunday, two citizens were wounded when the coalition artillery shelled their homes in al-Salkhana neighborhood of al-Hali district.
