UN envoy receives first slap from Arab coalition countries

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – The spokesman of Saudi-led coalition against Yemen, Turki al-Maliki, claimed that Houthis turned Sana’a airport into a military barracks from which Houthis launched the drones.
Al-Maliki claimed that the drones which targeted Abha airport last week was launched from Sanaa International Airport, and made many false charges about the Airport.
Maliki’s comments, which came after the announcement of the United Nations mandate for the ICAO Organization to ensure security and safety measures in Sanaa airport in preparation for re-opening to passengers, is the first slap received to the new UN envoy, which has been almost a month ago efforts to reopen the airport for humanitarian reasons.
Through Maliki’s allegations, the coalition cut the road not only to passengers and patients, but cut all the ways that could UN envoy reached to the peace talks.
