UAE-backed forces hand over military camps in Aden formality in agreement with Saudi Arabia, UAE

ADEN, Aug. 18 (YPA) – Southern media sources in Aden revealed that the handing over of the military camps captured by the Southern Transition Council Militias o funded by the UAE occupation is in formality agreement with Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The sources said that the extradition process, which is carried out under the supervision of the Saudi-UAE military commission, is a formality and not an actual one.

They pointed out that the STC has reconstituted the presidential protection brigades of its militias and its loyalists and currently handing them over to them.

Moreover, the sources explained that the STC deployed a number of formations of the security belt and elites loyal to the Emirates to the military camps of the presidential protection brigade, in the pension and other brigades, under the supervision of Brigadier Saleh al-Sayyid , Major General Shalal Shayea and southern military leaders loyal to the Emirates.

The sources confirmed that the Saudi mediation committee that arrived in Aden concluded an undisclosed agreement with the STC on the formal delivery of the sites of presidential protection brigades to save the face of the Saudi-Emirati alliance and cover up the scenarios of the plan orchestrated by the two countries and implemented by the STC militias with a green light from them.

According to the sources, the Southern Transition Council has out several conditions on the Saudi committee and considered those conditions binding and cannot be undone, most notably the lack of acceptance of the Islah Party in the south or any loyal forces.

In addition, General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar should be removed from his post as vice president, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi should be retained as a formal president, and appoint governors of the southern provinces and general directors of directorates by a decision of the
Southern Transition Council, to be issued by the exiled Hadi if required.
