Interior Minister in coalition-backed gov’t flees to Brega district after UAE militias breaks into his home

ADEN, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Interior Minister in the coalition-backed government Ahmed Al-Missri had fled from Crater district in Aden province, through eight armored vehicles belonging to the coalition forces and moved him from his home on Saturday to its headquarters in the city of Brega, pro-coalition media reported

Following recent developments in Aden, the Southern Transition Militias attacked al-Missri’s house and took control of positions and military camps in Crater.

According to media sources, Saudi and Sudanese armored vehicles have left al- Maasheq area in the presidential palace in Crater and headed for Brega district.

The UAE-backed militias took control of most of the military camps of the government of the so-called legitimacy in the province of Aden after violent clashes that lasted for days in which dozens of victims, including civilians were killed.

Local sources confirmed the escape and the surrender of the government of the so-called legitimacy and that the Saudi armored vehicles left the area of ​​Maasheq near the presidential palace in Crater district.

Earlier, the “ Southern Transition council ” forces said they had taken control of Badr camp, the most important camps of the mercenary government.

The UAE-backed Southern Transition Council announced the fall of the headquarters of the Third Brigade Presidential protection camp by the forces loyal to Council and that these forces deployed in different parts of the vicinity of the brigade.
