Yemeni army conducts drone attacks on Abha airport in Saudi Arabia

ASIR, Aug.10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army, backed by the Popular Committees on Saturday launched yet another wave of aerial attacks on Abha airport in Asir region in the south of Saudi Arabia.

Spokesman of the Yemeni army, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said that” The Air force conducts two attacks on Abha International Airport, using a number of Qasef- 2k drones.”

” The first operation targeted the airport’s fuel station and hit its target with high accuracy” Sare’e explained in a statement.

He confirmed that The second operation targeted the control tower at the airport, disrupting air traffic at the airport.

“The two operations come in response to Saudi-led coalition crimes against Yemeni people, in line with the Yemeni policy that any continuation of Saudi aggression against Yemen and 26 air strikes that have been carried out in the past 48 hours, He added
