Military media releases footage for mercenary prisoners in Asir

SANAA, July 30 (YPA) – The military media of the Yemeni army on Tuesday released footage showing of a number of Saudi army mercenaries were captured by the army forces during their infiltration attempts towards Al-Dayer area in Asir region.

The footage included interviews with some of the prisoners, during which they revealed how they were recruited and thrown into the frontlines without caring about their lives.

The prisoners revealed about how they were insulted by the Saudi army, as the video showed.

Earlier in the day, Yemeni armed forces spokesman Brigadier Yahya Sare’e announced that the Yemeni army and popular committees have captured more than 40 of Saudi-led coalition forces, and dozens were killed and wounded in Asir region.

The enemy forces suffered significant losses of life and equipment after a successful draw operation off the western circle of Asir region during infiltration attempts carried out by Saudi-hired mercenaries towards Qutaber and Monabbih border districts, ” Yahya Sare’e said in a statement.

He confirmed that a number of armored vehicles were destroyed and dozens of mercenaries were killed and wounded during the operations in the Axis of Asir.
