In Pictures: 16 tons of WFP food destroyed in Rayma

RAYMA, July 21 (YPA) – The local and judicial authorities in Rayma province, in central Yemen, on Sunday destroyed 16 tons of foodstuffs of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) for being unfit for human use.

Undersecretary of Rayma province Abdullah al-Dhubibi said that the destroyed foodstuffs were seized in a warehouse of WFP in al-Rabat area of al-Jabeen district in last May.

Al-Dhubibi confirmed the control campaigns would continue and that there are large quantities of rotten foodstuffs would be destroyed in the coming days, adding that those responsible for this negligence were referred to the public prosecution.
