Update: Saudi soldiers killed, 5 mercenaries gunned down in Jizan

JIZAN, July 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s artillery on Friday night pounded gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Qais Mountain in Jizan region, killing and injuring several of them, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official added that several of Saudi soldiers were killed and others injured in an ambush set by the army’s engineering unit in Naashau site in the same region.

Meanwhile, the snipers unit of the army and popular committees gunned down five of the Saudi army mercenaries and burned a military vehicle belonging them in east of al-Doud Mountain in Jizan.
