Security forces raid hideouts of takfiri groups in Dhalea

DHALEA, July 17 (YPA) – Security forces on Wednesday in seized weapons, improvised explosive devices, radios and equipment for the manufacturing bombs during a security raid targeting the hideouts of takfirist groups in the central province of Dhelea.

According to the security media center, the security services in Dhalea carried out a security raid against a hideout of takfirist and terrorist cell groups led by the wanted takfiriest leader Salim Ali Saleh al- Masani

The security raid came after careful monitoring and follow-up operation.
A security official noted that the criminal cell was carrying out murders and terrorism against citizens in the District of Juban.

He said the security campaign attacked the house of the cell’s leader, Salim Ali Saleh al- Masani, in the village of Aluqr of Juban district, after investigations confirmed his presence with the gang members in the house.

He added that security officers managed to break into the house and seized explosive devices, radios and equipment for the manufacture of bombs, automatic rifles and daggers.

Security force arrested two members of the cell and wounded a number of them, he said, adding that the rest of the gang fled towards the mountains.

The security official confirmed that the operation was carried out in cooperation with honorable elders and residents of the area.
