Five recruits killed in explosion in Yemen’s Hadhramaut

HADHRAMOUT, June 21 (YPA) – At least five recruits were killed and four others wounded on Friday in an explosion targeting a military vehicle belonging to the local authority in Hadramaout province, eastern Yemen local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the local sources, “an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded and targeted a military vehicle near a restaurant in Qatan district of Hadramout, killing five recruits and wounding four others.

Murders are repeated in all districts of Wadi Ḥaḍramawt due to the demands of the UAE occupation militias to take control over the province and to expel forces belonging to the first military region loyal to the leader of the Islah party Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.
