Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Najran

NAJRAN, June 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday repelled a large-scale attack carried out by mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Najran border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place in Hammad square, left dozens of the Saudi soldiers and mercenaries dead and wounded, the official said.

Meanwhile, the artillery unit shelled gatherings of the Saudi troops and mercenaries in the same position, causing district casualties.
