TAIZ, Jan. 22 (YPA) – A senior Yemeni military leader fighting along with Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen survived an assassination attempt on Monday in Yemen’s southern province of Taiz, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

Colonel Abdul Karim Al-Sama’ai escaped unharmed from an explosive device planed on the side road that went off when his car passed through.
Several people were killed and wounded in the bomb blast.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
