Update: Saudi-led coalition continues to violate Sweden agreement in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, June 16 (YPA) –The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries on Sunday continued to bomb residential areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, in a continual violation of Sweden agreement, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the coalition-backed mercenaries fired 10 Katyusha rockets on Jableyah area of Tuhitah district, and tens of artillery shells on several areas of Durihamy district, causing damages to civilians’ properties.

The coalition-backed mercenaries further targeted Zaafran and Mahel Sheikh villages in the area of Kilo 16 district, using heavy machine guns.

Furthermore, the mercenaries fired over 10 mortar shells on residential neighborhoods from the 50th street, Sanaa Street and the airport, causing material damages.
Earlier in the day, the coalition-backed forces hit residents’ areas of three districts of Tuhitaht, Hays and Durayhmy, wounding a woman and causing heavy damaging to citizen’s’ houses.
