Organizing committee sets Tuesday to resume “sit-in” in Mahrah province

MAHRAH, June 9 (YPA) – The organizing committee of al-Mahrah sons’ sit-in has set “Tuesday” to resume their sit-in against the presence of Saudi Arabian occupation forces in al-Mahrah province in eastern Yemen.

The organizing committee called on the tribes and Sons of the province to rally and sit in the border port of Sairfat, where the Saudi armored vehicles and forces loyal to Riyadh stationed.

The province of Al-Mahrah has been witnessing a wave of widespread protests, rejecting the presence of the Saudi occupation forces in Al-Mahrah province, after its objectives and ambitions were exposed.

Saudi Arabia is seeking to extend an oil pipeline from its territory to the Yemeni coasts, taking advantage of the state of weakness currently experienced by the Yemeni state, which the residents consider to be an occupation.
