Ansarullah’s Media Body condemns coalition’s crime in Sanaa

SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – Ansarullah’s Media Body condemned the horrific crime committed by Saudi-led aggression coalition on Thursday morning in the capital of Sanaa against one of the busiest neighborhoods, which left six dead and 71 wounded, including women and children.

The media body also condemned, in a statement, targeting the house of Head of Yemeni Journalists Union Abdullah Ali Sabri, which led to the killing of his son Hassan and injuring of all members of his family, in conjunction with other air raids targeted the building of the Ministry of Information.

The body considered this targeting to the Yemeni media cadres, institutions and infrastructure an attempt to silence the Yemeni people’s voice expressing their suffering and steadfastness.

The statement called on media institutions, concerned organizations and those interested in defending freedom of opinion and expression to register a position on these crimes, which have been ongoing for more than four years.

The media body confirmed that the national media would continue to carry out its duty and would not be deterred by these crimes from continuing to do its national tasks.
