Health Minister visits victims of coalition airstrikes on Sanaa

SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health Dr. Taha al-Mutwakel on Thursday visited a number of hospitals in the capital Sanaa to inspect the conditions of the wounded in Saudi-led aggression coalition airstrikes on al-Raqas neighborhood, which left six dead and 71 wounded.

The Minister of Health directed the hospitals to provide the necessary care for the wounded, as well as the provision of medicines and medical supplies.

The Minister valued the efforts of medical staff to help rescuing the wounded in emergencies, intensive care and operating rooms.

Dr. al-Mutwakel condemned the terrible massacre carried out earlier in the day by the coalition aircraft in a residential neighborhood at the intersection of Rabat and al-Raqas Streets in the capital Sanaa, killing six citizens, including four children from one family and two men, and injuring 71, including 27 children, 17 women and 27 men.

He indicated that there are Somali and Russian nationals among the wounded.
