10 bakeries closed in Sanaa for violating weights, prices

SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – Ministry of Industry and Trade on Thursday closed 10 bakeries in the capital Sanaa for violating prices and specific weights.

This came as part of the ongoing Ramadan national campaign to protect consumers, which is carried out by the ministry.

During the field inspection, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for Foreign Trade Sector Bassam al-Ghorbani explained that directives were issued to close 10 bakeries in the districts of Al-Thawra, Al-Wahda, Al-Safiya and Al-Sabeen because of violating weights prices of bread specified by the ministry.
