Report: 2 women killed in 17 Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours

SANAA, Apr. 4 (YPA) – Two Yemeni women were killed and five civilians were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 16 air strikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen provinces during the past 24 hours, according to medics and military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

  • In Saada province:

Two women were killed, one of whom was pregnant, and four others were injured in an airstrike targeted a civilian’s home in Dawsha area of Munabeh district.

Two air strikes hit Azqul area.

Meanwhile, a civilian, from Shada border district, was injured by artillery and missile shells fired toward several areas in Shada district.

Over 30 rockets and artillery shells fired toward civilians’ villages in Munabeh district.

Rocket and artillery shelling targeted several areas of Bagem, Razeh and Mounabeh border district.

  • In Hodeidah province:

Three airstrikes hit Jubanah area of Hali district.

An air raid was waged on Hais district.

  • In Hajjah province:

Nine airstrikes were launched on Haradh and Medi districts.

  • In Jawf Yemen province

A Saudi-led airstrike was waged on Saqiah area of Ghail district.
