Sayyed Abdul Malek al-Houthi reveals reasons for complexity of war on Yemen

SANAA, April 23 (YPA) -The Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, has talked about the complexities of the war on Yemen and the failure to find political solutions during the past four years war waged against the Yemeni people.

The move came during a televised interview with al-Masirah TV that was aired on Monday night.

Sayyid al-Houthi stressed that the region is witnessing difficult matters and major events linked to the American and Israeli interference in the orchestration of these events.

He pointed out that some Arab regimes in the region are implementing a proxy war on behalf of the US and Israel in order to achieve their own ambitions and goals in the Arab region in general, and in Yemen in particular.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi furthermore indicated the US role in Yemen, and mentioned that they want events in Yemen and the region to continue in order to exploit problems and crisis and as such achieve their economic interests.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi confirmed that freedom and independence from U.S. imperialism, and the ability to confront the Israeli enemy is key in promoting Yemeni national steadfastness.
